What is the Student Membership Program?

Food and Drug Law Institute’s Student Membership Program provides the space, connections, and resources needed to expand your knowledge and start a career in food and drug law.

From informal member exclusive events to custom student experiences during select conferences, the student program allows you to gain leadership experience, network, and learn from fellow FDLI members.

Benefits of Student Membership Program

Student Members can benefit from the following:

  • Access to member exclusive FDLI events
  • Networking opportunities with fellow students and experienced food and drug professionals
  • Access to student specific events and activities
  • Unique student-only experiences at select conferences
  • Student discounts on FDLI events and materials

Eligibility

This program is limited to full-time students of accredited universities. Although you may apply at anytime throughout the year, memberships expire at the end of each academic year.

Already a student member?

Current student members will transition to the new program as their membership expires. They must apply for the student program to continue receiving student discounts.

Interested in the Austern Writing Competition?

The H. Thomas Austern Writing Competition is intended to encourage law students interested in the areas of law affecting FDA-regulated industries. Students currently enrolled in a JD program at any of the nation’s ABA-accredited law schools and 2023–2024 academic year graduates are eligible to participate. We are currently accepting applications through 11:59 PM ET on Monday, June 3, 2024. Competition winners will be announced in Fall 2024.
