Law Over Lunch

The Law Over Lunch series offers FDLI members the exclusive opportunity to engage in facilitated virtual discussions over lunch on topics of interest to the food and drug law community. Groups are small – limited to ten attendees – to encourage fruitful conversation. This member-only benefit is a chance to closely learn from, educate, and network with other professionals in the field on new and pertinent topics. Prior topics have included: 10 Ways to Stay Under the Government Radar, Discovering Data Integrity Issues in Clinical Trials: What Happens Next?, and What Did the FDA Public Hearing Tell Us About Cannabis Regulation?

Law Over Lunch is a monthly lunch series, currently being held virtually, that offers FDLI members the opportunity to connect over lunch about pertinent issues affecting food and drug law and regulation. Each event features 4-6 discussion groups facilitated by an expert in the field. With topics covering the latest actions and activities, from recent FDA guidance to issues being faced in the current pandemic, this is a chance to learn, discuss, and network with other experts and professionals.

Any FDLI member is invited to attend, and all levels of experience are welcome. The discussions are facilitated by a leader in the field, but you do not have to be an expert to join the conversation. If you do not know if you are a FDLI member, please reach out to our membership team.

FDLI holds events approximately once a month.

We welcome our members to nominate themselves as table discussion facilitators. All topics related to FDA-regulated industries will be considered, and we accept topic submissions on an ongoing basis. Please submit proposals to our portal with a title and 2-3 sentences outlining the scope of the conversation.

Law Over Lunch tables are led by experienced professionals in the relevant field. This includes, but is not limited to, lawyers, government officials, consultants, and academics. Facilitation opportunities are reserved for FDLI members.

If you have a topic you are interested in facilitating, please submit a proposal to our portal with a title and 2-3 sentences outlining the scope of the conversation.

We appreciate your interest in sponsoring a Law Over Lunch event. Please contact Cathy Kiss for more information on sponsoring.
