VISION, MISSION AND VALUES

Vision – Our Fundamental Purpose

The Vision of FDLI is to be the premier organization dedicated to providing a leading, innovative, open, balanced marketplace of ideas for education and discourse across the field of global food and drug law that enables key stakeholders to inform, debate, and shape the evolution of public policy and regulation.

Mission – Our Principal Service Areas

Specifically, the Mission of FDLI is to:

  • Provide education, training, and publications on topical food and drug law
  • Act as a liaison to promote networking as a means to develop professional relationships
    and idea generation
  • Ensure an open, balanced marketplace of ideas to inform innovative public policy, law, and regulation

Values – Our Ideals

Neutrality: FDLI is not an advocacy organization and does not promote positions for regulations, policies or legislation. FDLI promotes the exchange of ideas from all sides of an issue, but as an organization does not take a position on issues; it remains neutral and upholds its neutrality as a means to nurture an open, balanced marketplace of ideas.

Inclusivity and diversity: FDLI membership and events are available to a wide, diverse group of professionals with interests in food and drug law. This value welcomes and fosters the diverse perspectives required for vigorous intellectual debate and exchange of ideas.

Innovation: FDLI brings together diverse parties to engage in dynamic exchange of ideas to drive and facilitate innovation in legislation, policy and regulation that affect food and drug law.
