FDLI Committees

As a membership organization, the Food and Drug Law Institute depends on the dedication and commitment of its members to ensure the vitality of association programs. Each year, hundreds of members serve on the Institute's standing committees.

FDLI committees consist of volunteer members who assist in formulating and implementing policies and strategies consistent with the organization’s mission.

Academic Programs Committee


The Academic Programs Committee advises FDLI staff in formulating and implementing policies and strategies consistent with FDLI’s mission, relating to programs and publications of interest to the academic legal community. The Committee discusses various programs, publications, pricing, dissemination vehicles, etc. that best facilitate expanding FDLI’s educational mission.

Drugs and Biologics Committee


The Drugs and Biologics Committee advises FDLI staff in formulating and implementing policies and strategies consistent with FDLI’s mission, relating to programs and publications of interest to the drugs and biologics industries. The Committee advises staff on the appropriateness of conferences and publications relating to pharmaceuticals and biologics by reviewing and commenting on proposals.

Finance Committee


The purpose of the Finance Committee is to ensure the responsible financial operations of FDLI. The Committee provides on-going oversight of the financial operations and investment policies of FDLI to ensure sound financial management. The Committee also advises the Board on the direction and control of financial matters. The Committee also ensures that the Board is well informed about the Institute's finances.
